SELF CONFIDENCE
Who are you? What importance do you attach to your personality? How often do you strive to be among the best>do what people do say make more sense than what you think of yourself? How often do you applaud and commend for your good deeds you have done even if no one commends you?
Answering the above question could be extremely difficult to some people but it answers all doubt of self confidence we have. Believing in one self is the most important antidote in achieving success in life. There are many times when some task seem too difficult to you and right under your nose you see people performing the task easily. You then become depressed and dejected, stupid thoughts like “I am a dullard”, “I don’t know anything”, “I really have a low brain” starts to pop in your head.
Hey! Come on, you should instead challenge yourself and keep on trying over and over again till you get it , encouraging yourself with word like “I know I can do this thing, I just missed it somewhere , I must get it done no matter what it takes.
Great achiever like Thomas Edison never failed to try again, again and again regardless of the countless number of times they have failed because they believed in their selves, they had a high self esteem, they were confident in themselves.
Maybe because people say “you are too ugly, you don’t even know anything”, look! So, so and so is far more better than you are “.you shrink into your shell and things begin to flash "its better I just stay put in my own corner, “its better I just be on my own”
Listen! Ben Carson a well known neurosurgeon was also once a dullard in his early days in school. He was laughed at, although it always hurt, it didn’t hold on to what people said, he developed confidence in himself and in the good counsel his loved one gave him
Other times you think, “No!, this job is not meant for me , it is meant for people that are brilliant “, “I’m not meant to be in a place like this only special people come here”. Are you not special too? All those you place highly do they have more heads than you?
God has made every one unique with his/her own differences, there is no person who is an island of himself and who is perfect. Everyone has their own faults.
No one should ever make you feel bad without your permission because you are good as anyone else, it only depend s on how well you build yourself and maximize your opportunities.
Always following other people and leaning on what they say will never make you discover yourself. Be bold for what you stand for and work on the little you know. Alway3s remember every one you know have achieved success today started from somewhere, they didn’t just turned out to be the way they are. Instead of killing yourself esteem, start your own success to from somewhere. It’s all about believing in you to do what is right.
